Smith Ent. double lug M14 NM (semi auto)

Built in 1988 and test fired only, it has been sitting in our storage and packed away, overlooked for all this time until a few months ago. This rifle is new. After looking it over we were very happy to see the outstanding workmanship we were doing over 20 years ago that we continue today. This rifle is a great 1000 yard piece.

  • The receiver is completely machined, with the lugs welded on, finished to perfection, and heat treated, using a process we developed back then, that most everyone copies today.
  • Kreiger Heavy 4140 CM barrel with 1x10x6 groove. Will shoot 168grn and M118LR like a champ.
  • USGI gas system unitized by screwing the front band to the cylinder, SEI Hard Chrome Piston with double heat treated M80HT gas plug.
  • Trigger group is TRW with all SEI latest up grades.
  • Reciever,bolt and barrel Cryo’d.
  • Stock is McMillian Heavy, glassbeded and tied down with 2 1/4x28 socket head cap screws into bushings.
  • Special epoxy military brown paint made to our spec applied to stock and handguard. Surface after painting has a krenkle finish, pleasing to the eye and feels good. We did a number of this type of gun in double and single lug for Creedmoore Sports in California, mostly single lug.
  • TRW bolt, trigger group, op-rod were new when the gun was built. USGI NM ½ MOA rear sights.
  • Included is a well-used and very broke-in M1907 Turner sling.

The pictures are not really that good, but if you want more pictures we can try to do that for you. There is more than meets the eye in this build.

COST: $6,500 plus shipping. Keep in mind, if you bought a Springfield M1A White Feather you will pay about $4,600 and then you would have to go through it anyway.
